Chris was born and raised in a Christian home in Nairobi, Kenya. His mother was very involved in African Inland Church where he and his family attended. While in Sunday school he began to have a passion for drama, music and serving in church ,though he thought he was saved it was at age thirteen when at an open-air crusade area that Chris received a full understanding of salvation and God’s grace through a missionary who ignited his life in reaching the children Becky coats. Chris became actively involved in his church serving in children’s ministry, evangelism, starting a Christian dance group, and school outreach and mission work through Becky coats. He even began to volunteer and serve with other Organizations to reach the children in the slums and in rural areas. It was during that time Chris felt God’s call on his heart to reach the children of Africa with the Word. He saw the importance of raising a child in the way of the Lord and how in his own life it was church and his mother’s example that brought him to the Christ and during that moment his heart was led to a greater need that he saw in many children which was to do with education, child trafficking, child molestation and talents in children of Africa and through that conviction he saw the need of Africa united for children would secure the future of many children and through his close mentor David Kanyajua and his wife united Africa for children was born. Chris and members of United Africa for Children are touching many lives, giving children who have fallen victims to crimes a voice, and giving them the hope of Christ.
